Aly Aun Garcia
was born and raised right here in Lexington, SC, and has been in the hair industry for 16 + years.
Her family played a big roll in this beautiful town including 2 Mayors, a grocery store, kindergarten, restaurants, and the list goes on! Her heart, and her roots are right here in this amazing town, which is why opening a salon here is so special to her. It is the reason for the name, Salon RUTZ. ("roots" just didn't seem as fun)
Aly specializes in intricate updos, dimension foiling, corrective color, and razor cutting. She is extensively trained in the ever-impressive, European color line, known as Keune. This line was established in the Netherlands over 95 years ago, and continues to wow Europe, and now thankfully, the US with its Silk Proteins, UVA/UVB protectants, and grey coverage that surmounts any other color line. As you can tell, her passion for this line, as well as this industry, continues to drive her to search for more education so she can create the most cutting edge hair art possible for each and every one of her clients.
Got frizzy, curly hair? Aly's got you covered in that area as well. She is also trained in the Keratin Complex Smoothing treatment, which is no longer just for straightening curl, but also creating the most beautiful curls you've ever seen!
Over the years, Aly's stunning updos, and creative event hair, have won her several awards. She even had a couple of her creations featured in the popular INSPIRE hair books that you can find inside salons all over the country! She has also been interviewed and featured in several magazines, such as Columbia Living and Lexington Life. Aly even wrote an article on finding your style entitled "Hair 101" on Lexingtonanchor.com, which is an online magazine. Her reputation is undeniable.
Salon Policies and Important Information
We require at least a 24-hour notice by text, phone call, or email if you need to cancel, reschedule, or make any changes to your appointment. . Clients that do not give a FULL 24 hr notice, WILL BE charged 50% of that service before being rescheduled for the next service.
You will receive an email immediately after booking your appointment. Additionally, you will receive an email confirmation 2 days before your appointment where you can confirm your appointment with one click! Finally, a reminder text is sent directly to your phone 24 hours before your appointment. This is why we feel giving us 24-hour notice of cancellations is possible.
Our clients arrive to receive their services, often while sipping on a glass of wine or cup of hot coffee/tea, to fully enjoy a little bit of relaxation and peace. If your child is not receiving a hair service, we ask that you make arrangements for your children elsewhere so that we may allow our other clients, as well as yourself, to enjoy your special time away from the responsibilities of everyday life.

If we cannot find a suitable time for your appointment, I will gladly notify you of any cancellations that may accommodate you. Just contact me by phone, text, or email to let me know you would like to be added to the list.
If for some reason you are unhappy with your result, it is best to inform the stylist before departure. However, if you do return home and are unhappy with the result, please contact the stylist within 24 hours of receiving the hair service. Waiting to contact after this window of time will result in payment of new service.
